Fund raising and recruitment of new donors takes place via existing members and donors.

In addition to financial help from other Foundations, (PAN, snickers-de Bruyn, Tensen, Jurgens and Vicentrum) The Mali Foundation receives considerable help from various Dutch Church organisations, and collections are made for the Foundation. Our donors maintain contact with these organisations.

Dutch and German doctors and hospitals give us medicines, medical instruments, bandages and wheelchairs.

Radio TV North Holland offered us air space to publicise our Foundation and we were also invited to speak to the Evangelical-Lutheran church in Amsterdam. Reports of visits, presented to interested groups by our donors, ensure new enthusiasm from those who hear them.

No overhead costs
All costs incurred in The Netherlands and the costs for the 3 or 4 control visits per year are met privately, so that donations go straight to Mali.

Finances
The annual accounts of Foundation Mali are prepared by the auditfirm Drs. C. Rijntjes B.V., Chartered Accountant, and copies are available from the board of the foundation.
